The MES6000 series is a high performance aggregation 10G core/aggregation switch engineered for modern enterprise and education networks that require reliable, flexible, and scalable connectivity. Designed with a high-performance chip architecture, the switch delivers 10G SFP+ ports and 100G QSFP28 uplinks, providing a powerful combination of high density access and ultra high speed aggregation. With up to 4Tbps switching capacity and 1010Mpps forwarding rate, the MES6000 series ensures non blocking transmission for bandwidth intensive applications such as high density Wi Fi, video surveillance, and data rich collaboration environments.
The platform integrates comprehensive Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, including VLAN, static and dynamic routing, OSPFv2/v3, BGP. This allows the switch to function not only as a high capacity aggregation switch but also as a compact core switch. Advanced reliability technologies—ERPS, STP/RSTP/MSTP, MLAG, SmartLink, and MonitorLink—ensure rapid recovery and uninterrupted service in mission critical deployments
Security capabilities such as 802.1X, MAC authentication, RADIUS, uRPF, and DoS protection help safeguard network integrity, while multiple management interfaces (CLI, SSH, Web, SNMP) simplify operations.
Compact 1U dimensions and 1+1 redundant hot swappable power supply support make the MES6000 series an ideal fit for agile, scalable campus networks needing 10G performance and 100G uplink readiness.
