Mr. Chi Lin is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Altai Technologies, providing leadership on strategic direction and business development of the company.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Lin was the Vice President of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) where he led the team to commercialize various photonics packaging projects. Mr. Lin has extensive experience in enterprise management and commercialization of advanced technologies. Previously he was the President of Lucent Technologies (China) Optical Networking Group. He also set up and operated a Lucent Technologies majority-owned joint venture in Shanghai. He was also responsible for network architecture and related management solution of Lucent's SDH transmission network products in Asia Pacific and the Greater China region. Before Lucent had been spun off from AT&T, Mr. Lin worked in Bell Labs. He was named "The Father of DACS IV-512 Switch" to recognize his contributions in creating the product.
Mr. Lin received his B.S. of EE from McGill University and M.S. of EE from Columbia University.

Dr. Wong is the Chief Technology Officer and the Vice President of Engineering of Altai Technologies, responsible for defining the overall technical strategies and product development for the company.
Prior to Altai Technologies, Dr. Wong was Founder and the Vice President of the Wireless Access Group (WAG) at Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited (ASTRI). During his tenure, he established the WAG and delivered commercial WiFi infrastructure products with smart antenna technologies. The WAG was successfully spun off from ASTRI to form Altai Technologies Ltd.
Dr. Wong has over 15 years of advanced technology and product development in wireless communication systems. He brings with him a successful track record in wireless startup business from Silicon Valley. He co-founded Silicon Telecom, which specialized in PACS and PHS smart antenna base station equipment. Dr. Wong was then one of the co-founders of Adaptive Telecom Inc. (ATI) developing smart antenna technologies for CDMA. After successfully demonstrating a smart antenna system, ATI was subsequently acquired by a NASDAQ listed company for US$130million with 30X return for its VC investors.
He owns over 15 US patents and with many pending. Dr. Wong has numerous publications, including the IEEE journals; and many invited presentations in major international conferences. He received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University.

Ms. Rose Hu is the Vice President, Operations & Sales of Altai Technologies. She is overseeing Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Marketing, China & Europe Sales and Professional Services of the company.
Rose has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. She has extensive experience in sales & marketing and worked in different sectors, from the Ministry of Information Industry of China in mid 80s, Fortune 500 companies to start-up company such as Philips, Lucent Technologies and Photonic Bridges Inc. Rose gained the experience in operating a start-up company when she was in Photonic Bridges which was later acquired by Siemens.
During her tenure in Lucent, Rose had involved in optical transport project engineering, joint venture management, R&D portfolio planning and new market development. Rose was the Vice President, Marketing Development Asia Pacific of Optical Networking Group, leading the team with sales turnover over US$350 million before she left Lucent. Prior to Lucent, Rose worked with Philips in Eindhoven for 3 years.
Rose received her B.S. of EE from Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunications.

Ms. Catherine Leung is the Vice President, Sales & Business Development of Altai Technologies. She is responsible for the business development of key customers and the Sales in vertical market, US market & new emerging markets.
Catherine has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, having worked for Lucent Technologies for more than 16 years. She was the Vice President of its Hong Kong Operations overseeing the overall business and its Chief Representative of the Hong Kong office. Prior to her Hong Kong assignment, she was Managing Director of the Network Cable Systems for the Greater China Region. At the same time, she was a Director of the boards of 3 Joint Ventures of Lucent in China. By collaborating the effort of the direct sales force from Lucent and the three Joint Ventures, Catherine successfully grew the cable business in China to more than US$100 million.
Catherine gained her wireless experience during her role as the Regional Marketing Manager for Network Wireless System for AT&T Asia/Pacific Inc back in the early 90's. She also worked for Hong Kong Telecom and Federal Express both in sales & marketing capacity back in late 80's.
Catherine received her MBA and B.Sc. (Hon) from The University of Hong Kong. Besides, she graduated from an Executive Education Program "Financial and Strategic Management" from Penn State University in 1996 and a Senior Executive Program from Columbia University in 1998.

Mr. Frank Lai is the Vice President, Solution. He is responsible for the sales of Solution Business.
Frank has over 25 years experience in the Telecommunication and IT industries, and he is a certified Unix Service Engineer. Frank had worked at several mini computer systems companies based in Canada as Field Service Engineer. He was previously the Director of Engineering Service at Quebec IT Services Firm before he co-founded an IT system integrator company in 1986. Under Frank's leadership, the company became the top 100 VAR in Canada for several years with branch offices in New York and Toronto. The company was later acquired by a public listed company.
Frank is the co-founder of GTCTI-Canada. As the Vice-President and General Manager of the company since 2000, he continues to be instrumental in building the company's success as an international VoIP and Contact Center solutions provider.
Frank is an active reserve member with Canadian Forces. He received the Canadian Forces Decoration (CD) in 2006. He also serves as volunteer in the Rappel Team & the Troop of Cavalry with a Canadian Forces reserve unit in Montreal. Frank graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical University (Toronto) in Electronic Engineering, He studied Computer System Design at Concordia University (Montreal) and completed a Computer Programming Certificate Program at McGill University (Montreal).

Mr. Doug R. George is the Director, Hardware Engineering & Technology Innovation of Altai Technologies, responsible for all the hardware design and new product innovation. Doug has more than 20 years of industrial experience in the design and manufacturing of commercial and consumer electronic products in the Hong Kong and Southern China region. He has also been involved in the system deployment for telecommunications projects in both Hong Kong and China.
Prior to Altai, Doug was a member of the spin-off team from ASTRI where he was an early member of the Wireless Access Group. Before ASTRI, he worked at the University of Science & Technology, Wharf Cable TV, United International Holdings and VTech Engineering. Many of his projects have been done from the conceptualization stage and most of his design work has focused on RF circuits or RF systems.
Doug received his double diploma graduate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in Vancouver.
